SVREP is proud to continue this one of a kind culinary experience celebrating the best of distinct cuisines of Latin American inspiration. Sabor de las Americas/Taste of the Americas is a competition among Latino-themed restaurants from the greater Los Angeles area.

Willie C. Velasquez Benefit Dinner 2017
The Southwest Voter Registration Education Project (SVREP) launched its California Voter Rights Act (CVRA) Campaign on May 11, 2017 before 150 donors and supporters at the LA River Center in Los Angeles raising some $75,000 for nonpartisan Latino voter activities in support of CVRA actions in Southern and Central California.

A nonpartisan effort, focuses on developing Latina talent to organize and lead the community.

Latino Academy
The Latino Academy provides participants with public policy and campaign skills training. 2016’s Latino Academies are designed for local candidates and campaign workers as well as local elected officials. SVREP will also conduct statewide legislative summits open to all interested community leaders.

Latino Vote LA
A local nonpartisan campaign to mobilize 10,000 youth voters for Los Angeles municipal and school board elections. Latino Vote LA page is under construction.

Latino Vote/Voto Latino 2013/2014
Latino Vote 2013/2014 will mobilize 100,000 new voters in local elections in Texas, California, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, North Carolina, and Florida in 2013 and2014. Funds will be raised in Latino Vote/Voto Latino benefits in the same states.Latino Vote/Voto Latino 2013/2014 page is under construction.

Latino Vote 12 N 12
A national nonpartisan effort to raise Latino voting to 12 million votes cast in November 2012.
